What do you want the world to know about you?
I am a Chicago-based theater director and educator, as well as the Education Programs Coordinator at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Favorite directing credits include: Legally Blonde the Musical and Grease (Beverly Theatre Guild), A Grand Night for Singing (Dunes Summer Theater), The Christmas Five (Mudlark Theater), Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins (Strawdog Theatre), This is a Chair (Haven Theatre), and Women of 4G (Babes with Blades Theatre Company). As an assistant director in Chicago, I have worked with various companies including: About Face Theatre, Firebrand Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Theater Wit, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Victory Gardens Theatre, Redtwist Theatre, Writers Theatre, and Windy City Playhouse. I served as the 2016/2017 Artistic Apprentice at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and as a fellow in the 2018/2019 Directors Inclusion Initiative at Victory Gardens Theatre.
What do you daydream about?
New and creative ways to bring stories to life on stage, as well as trips I would love to take to the places I have read about.
What hobbies and interests do you geek out about?
Fantasy and science fiction novels, baking, and juggling
What do you do in the Midwives?
As a board member, my goal is to help the organization grow and support its constituents as we move towards the future. In addition to fundraising, this involves building collaborations and partnerships - helping others in the community learn about the Midwives and get excited about the possibilities.
