Jess is a freelance artist, director, and teaching artist based in Chicago. She has a BA in acting from Columbia College Chicago with a minor in photography. She's worked with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Northbrook Theater, Up and Coming Theater Company, and Redmoon Theater. She currently teaches theater across Chicago as a teaching artist with Urban Gateways.

CIRCLE PROJECT
During long periods of unconsciousness where does our spirit go? What is the importance of religion in the 21st century? Explorations of the fluidity of consciousness, effects of brain trauma, reincarnation. How do we respond in the wake of trauma/natural disasters? Based on a true story of a midwestern family navigating the aftermath of one middle aged woman’s brain aneurysm.
