EXPLORING
I am currently exploring/writing/creating a new play for young audiences about the Amazon Rainforest. The play follows the life of a tree in the Amazon. With no humans in the play, the tree shares with the audience their daily joys and challenges as well as the constant threat of being chopped down. The play celebrates the biodiversity of the Amazon and also calls attention to the grave threats it is facing with deforestation and wildfires. The play reminds audiences of our interconnectedness with all forms of life, and leaves the audience with a call to action.
