BIO
I make performances that distill complex philosophical ideas into salient emotional experiences. Typically my work is devised with the ensemble, performed in unusual venues, and formatted with immersive and interactive elements. I am drawn toward expressionistic world-building, dialectic modes of thinking, oscillation between intimacy and spectacle, and moments of intense chaos.
I am the founder and artistic director of Ceaseless Fun, an LA-based immersive performance company. I also served on the board of directors for the League of Experiential and Immersive Artists and led a monthly physical theater/ensemble devising jam: Soft Focus. Recently, I relocated from LA back to my hometown of Chicago.
WHAT I MAKE
I generally make theater, but I'm interested in working on a short film for this project
