i am a maker. among the roles i embody are parent (to a 14-year-old), choreographer, director, performer, and creative partner, curator, teacher, and researcher. there are two beautiful dogs that share our home. writing and text limn the most private side/s of my work. my lifelong movement began at the age of three, and has been in a state of transformation since.

EXPLORING
I am looking to renew and refresh my practice. I am emerging from a long period of caregiving for family of origin and elders. Beginning to gather energy to produce again. I am riveted by epiphytes known as Resurrection Ferns that grow in Africa and the Americas. I have a vision for this work and would like to prepare it. I would also like to return to a writing practice and develop a companion set of texts with and for the work, whose working title is Evidence of Things Not Seen.
